Letter Writing is an Easy Way to Participate in Democracy
Personally, I love little old ladies and in my pursut of skipping midlife and racing right into my golden years I have discovered that white haired women love to call thier local representative. The street light is out in front of your house? get on the phone. Buses aren”t running on time? phone.
As futile as these things sometimes feel, they add up and are a valid way of having your voice heard. So before you start social media beef with your school board ombudsman, write their boss a letter.
Also for the love of god, please vote every chance you get.
